The UA EcoCAR team showcased its
redesigned Cadillac LYRIQ at the Year 4
competition of the EcoCAR EV Challenge,
earning second place in Model-Based Design,
meeting Connected and Automated Vehicles
technical specifications, and securing a fourthplace overall finish.
Members of Tikkun Olam Makers partnered
with Druid City Makerspace to design custom
mobility trainers for children at the RISE
Center, supporting motor skill development
while creating a more engaging environment
for peer interaction. The project highlighted
TOM’s commitment to accessibility-driven
design and engineering solutions that address
real community needs.
The UA chapter of the American Institute of
Chemical Engineers received the Outstanding
Student Chapter Award at the annual AIChE
Student Conference. The recognition honors
chapters that demonstrate exceptional
participation, enthusiasm, program quality,
professionalism, and meaningful involvement
on their campus and in the community.
